The AirTrain Jazz Festival takes place in Jamaica, Queens at the AirTrain Jamaica Station. Libby Richman & Co. will perform smooth jazz and original music as part of the festival.

Ms. Richman will feature music from her current cd Open Strings. "The Day After", "Counterpoint," "Open Strings" are the originals on the program. Jazz standards "Cherokee," "Sunny," and "Step Lightly" will also be performed.
With deep roots in classical music, saxophonist Libby Richman leads Libby Richman & Co., an ensemble that plays original contemporary jazz. Her sound echoes many influences including Classical, Latin, and Pop music.
In September 2014 she was featured in The International Musician, the official journal of the American Federation of Musicians.
In 2016 she performed at Wave Hill with her quartet as part of the Sunset Wednesday Summer series. The Libby Richman trio was on the calendar at Cleopatra's Needle. In December she was featured in the Sparkle Christmas Festival at Boscobel in Garrison, NY performing holiday jazz.
In 2017 the band will be participating in the AirTrain Jazz Festival for the first time.
Her love of guitar inspired the music for "Open Strings," her latest recording.
