NYU Steinhardt's annual TUTTE LE CORDE: PIANO MUSIC AFTER 1970, curated by Director of Piano Studies Marilyn Nonken, presents compositions for solo piano and piano with electronics. Performers include guest artist and new music legend Charles Abramovic, Marilyn Nonken, and pianists of NYU Steinhardt Tristan McKay, Michael P. Tan, Rinat Tsodyks, and Alexandra Saraceno. The program will feature music by Michael Finnissy ("Green Meadows" from English Country Tunes, 1977), Morton Feldman (Palais de Mari, 1986), Elizabeth Hoffman (organum let open, 2008), and Joshua Fineberg (Til Human Voices Wake Us, 1995), as well as the premieres of Oren Lok's 15 Self-Talk Exercises for piano and electronics (2016) and Mathew Greenbaum's Anomalies (2016).
