The GRAMMY Award-winning San Francisco Girls Chorus, led by Artistic Director Lisa Bielawa and Music Director & Principal Conductor Valérie Sainte-Agathe, celebrates the release of Final Answer, the group's debut album on the Orange Mountain Music label with a concert featuring works from the album by Philip Glass (Father Death Blues), Lisa Bielawa (Opening: Forest from Vireo: The Spiritual Biography of a Witch's Accuser), John Zorn (Columbina), Carla Kihlstedt (Herring Run), Matthew Welch (Salute on the Birth of Rory Mor), and Theo Bleckmann (Final Answer). SFGC comes to Le Poisson Rouge in advance of its performance at Carnegie Hall on Friday, February16, when the group joins the Philip Glass Ensemble in the composer's Music With Changing Parts.
