The literary giant Gertrude Stein has inspired books, plays, paintings and other works of art. Now her playful and poignant language has inspired the composer Daniel Thomas Davis to create a new opera. Davis, along with librettist Adam Frank and director-designer Doug Fitch, has adapted three of Stein's plays into a three-act fantastical opera.
